Richard Fry |
Richard Fry came to the world of acting and writing rather late after running a pub and emptying bins for years. He quickly built up an impressive CV with B-Movies, Erotic Thrillers and Bollywood Extravaganzas before stepping out onto the stage.
Richard Fry wrote BULLY, drawing on his own experiences of bullies and bigots, fairies and fag hags, big bad boyfriends and youth club slags. Dealing with serious subjects such as homophobic bullying in school, violence in a same-sex relationship and the ginger one in Girls Aloud, the punchy script unfolds at an alarming rate which will have you laughing out loud one minute and crying the next. BULLY is quite simply one of the most engaging hours you will spend in a theatre.
Richard also wrote Killing Me Softly, his second play. This new drama about love, violence and Karaoke, unveils a shocking tale of love going savagely wrong.
Do not miss Richard's talents this August;
BULLY - Gilded Balloon Turret: 12.45 (1hour) KILLING ME SOFTLY - Gilded Balloon Billiard Room: 2.45 (1hour)
