The Trio Brothers Troupe were a singing comedy act starring Neil Warhurst who writes comedy for Radio 4. Rab Christie, who co-writes and produces the highly popular Chewin' the Fat and Still Game for BBC Scotland . The last member of the troupe was Gregg Hemphill who came to the fore in Chewin' The Fat (1992) and Still Game with Ford Kiernan (2003) Hemphill has recently been elected rector of Glasgow University
