Tiernan won the Perrier Award in 1998 and the British Comedy Award in 1999. He is an accomplished actor on stage and screen and his first novel, The Gospel According To William.

His show “Tell me a Storm” won the Edinburgh Fringe Orange Audience Favorite award in 2003. His “Loose” tour is currently selling out in his Native Ireland and has recent released a DVD “Cracked, Live at Vicar St."
