After the heady euphoria of the Edinburgh Festival and So You Think Your Funny? Nick used his competition winnings to live in London for the next three months where he used his extremely high profile and newfound celebrity status to gig continuously for little or no money in strange places to strange people who often stared at him strangely. He then endured constant respiratory illness and severe clinical depression that brought him to the brink of suicide before continuing on his travels for the next two months to Sweden, New York and Jamaica. It should be noted that upon leaving London, Nick experienced an immediate change in his mood and outlook on life. This April he will be participating in several shows in the Melbourne Comedy Festival and in July he will be flying to the Montreal Comedy Festival, which no doubt will be his gateway to superstardom as he networks with transparent PR and industry types in order to secure a lucrative development deal for a sitcom pilot about the trials and tribulations of an interracial gay couple living in Spanish Harlem with their adopted down-syndrome afflicted flipper child, Marvin. Afterwards Nick plans to relocate to the cesspool of misery that is London (once again) in order to make some sort of living out of this strange, strange thing called comedy. That is unless he obtains a Green card into New York. Yay!
