Former stable boy Lee Mack went on to host Gas on C4. His show at the 2000 Edinburgh Festival, “Lee Mack's New Bits”, was nominated for a Perrier. He then wrote and starred in ITV’s “The Sketch Show” in 2001. Recently nominated for a Barry at the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2004, he is currently writing a US version of The Sketch Show for Kelsey Grammer of Frasier. His radio show “The Lee Mack Show is also currently being aired on BBC Radio 2.
